New here? Tell us three things:
- What you do — the domain you actually know something about. That matters more here than your job title, because domain knowledge is the thing AI can’t hand you.
- What you’re trying to work out — a real problem, ideally. Vague is fine if that’s honestly where you are.
- Where you think you are — see Find your level. Guessing is fine. Most people place themselves one rung too high, and a few place themselves several rungs too low.
No need to perform expertise. This community is explicitly built on the idea that “I’m not technical” is a cage, not a fact — and equally that pretending to know something you don’t is how people get stuck.
A useful thing to include: something AI recently got wrong for you, and how you caught it. That tells us more about where you are than any self-assessment.
